Just a five-minute drive from our Oak Townhomes, The Secret Garden is one of our favourite stops in Kerrisdale. The charming teahouse is a quiet escape to enjoy good company and an even better cup of tea.

Whether you’re visiting for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea, the menu offers both savoury and sweet items that are sure to satisfy. A scone with Devon cream paired with a cup of Secret Garden’s signature Secret Tea blend is our personal favourite. Mother’s Day High Tea is available on Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th. With three tiers of goodness, you and your mom will start off with egg pinwheels, braised beef short ribs with roasted red pepper sauce on house made focaccia bread, and sautéed prawn canapés on buttery brioche. You’ll want to save room for dessert, which includes mini lemon curd tarts, raspberry crème brûlée with vanilla whip, and dark chocolate and roasted macadamia nut tarts with cocoa Chantilly. Conversation over tea is the perfect way to show your mom just how much she means to you.
