Bennett: 19 townhomes on Oak Street in South Cambie
Bennett is a collection of 19 townhomes at 5500 Oak Street, in Vancouver’s South Cambie neighbourhood. Completed in 2016 and now sold out, it is part of Listraor’s long run of homes on the Oak Street corridor.
Raymond Letkeman Architects designed Bennett as three buildings, three and four storeys tall, set around a private central courtyard where neighbours can gather. One level of underground parking sits below. The design is contemporary and inspired by West Coast living, with timeless brick exteriors, wood details and a clean, simple form, and landscaping by ETA Landscape Architecture keeps it green. Most homes have three bedrooms.
Bennett sits near West 38th Avenue and shares its block with Aston and Flora. Queen Elizabeth Park, Oakridge Park and the Canada Line are all close by, and Eric Hamber Secondary is a short walk away.
