Westridge Living: 21 view townhomes at the base of Burnaby Mountain
Westridge Living is an intimate community of 21 townhomes at Barnet Road and Duthie Avenue, in North Burnaby’s Westridge neighbourhood at the base of Burnaby Mountain. Completed in 2012 and now sold out, it was designed for young families and for couples ready to downsize.
Formwerks Architectural designed Westridge Living as three three-storey buildings around a landscaped internal courtyard, with three small commercial units and one level of underground parking. Homes range from two-bedroom garden homes on one level to three-bedroom homes over three levels. Most have private roof decks with views of the North Shore mountains and Burrard Inlet, and every home has its own outdoor space and both a front and back door. Inside, hardwood floors, stained wood French doors and overheight ceilings set the tone.
Burnaby Mountain’s trails and parks are minutes away, along with SFU and the shops at Kensington Shopping Centre. Schools are within walking distance, and downtown Vancouver is about 15 kilometres west.
