When the contract is in place, both the buyer and seller must hire a lawyer to do the conveyancing.
Conveyancing is the act of transferring title of the property from one party to another. The lawyer will ensure that the title to the land is properly transferred and clear of any liens and charges. We recommend that you arrange an appointment with a lawyer soon after the contract is signed. This will give him/her time to review the contract and get the conveyancing information to our lawyers in a timely matter.
